Welcome to
Our School
We are proud to offer a high-quality education within a principled Islamic environment, where faith and learning are not separate, but mutually enriching.
Kassim Darwish Grammar School for Boys (KDGB) is an independent, broadly selective
day school providing secondary education for over 150 pupils aged 11-16. The school is
based in Hartley Hall, a Grade II listed Victorian building with a rich educational and
religious heritage, located in Chorlton-Cum-Hardy, Manchester.
Founded in 2001, KDGB is part of the Manchester Islamic Educational Trust (MIET),
alongside two other partner schools. We serve families from across Greater Manchester
and have been a member of the Independent Schools Association (ISA) in 2014.
